The law that government can possess the peoples' land if a precious metal or oil is discovered on it and given peanuts as compensation is wrong and exploitative and should be changed. The land with whatever is on or below it belongs to the land owner. He can choose to do what fancies him with the mineral deposits. He has the right to mine it himself,lease or sell it outright to any bidder. It is with the owners that the mining companies have to deal with, like in Texas with the 1930's oil find there. It is an unalienable right of the people.

Over the years these groups have painted a picture of being on the side of the ordinary folks in the mining communities but in reality they hide behind this to attract sponsorship monies for their own comfort.
If they were genuine, we would have heard them come out loud and clear on the galamsey activities destroying communities, water bodies, morality of both kids and adults as well as the education of kids.

any NGG or charity you need to look online(if listed) How much money is spent to ceo and other staff salaries, how much is spent on fund raising..And how much REALLY goes to help the poor people

just as they prevent factories and malls and auto repair in middle of residential neighborhoods in usa and uk..The prevent mining close to homes..They prevent beer and wine sold close to churches and schools!
