This is unbelievable, an illegal organisation is carrying out fraudulent activities and they are asked to return people's deposits. This is like asking a burglar to return stolen goods otherwise face prosecution. What planet do the so called Drs. Live on? Bernie Madoff who was fraudulently ripping off billions using ponzi schemes same as these three banks is now serving 150 years years. Madoff was not given time to pay off depositors, he was arrested and jailed.
Why is the governor of Bog, head also of Bank Regulatory System in Ghana not having the directors arrested, seize all the assets of the banks including those of all directors and shareholders and supervise the return of deposits.
We are indeed some way away to properly govern. PhDs and bogus degrees from bogus universities are not enough.
