I find it puzzling that we can export food to Europe whiles people in Africa sometime don't even have any to eat to death and yet we complain when they put restrictions on us.

Braveboy, we need quality even if we are exporting it to Ketibu just behind your home town. If our goods are of good quality nobody will reject them whether be it in Europe or Africa. I think you don't want to buy a car assembled at Kokompe as compare to one built by Neoplan in Accra. I think it is even better for us Ghanaians to have that quality goods to consume at home.
Think of it buying a contaminated tin food and after ten years, developing some seroius disease whom are you going to blame. Ghana should put value to our export so that the little we export we get the maximun benefit. It is good for Ghana to look to other markets eg our african neighbours but have they got the money to pay us as we want? That is another matter. Put value to our goods an not just only for export but also for home consumtion. God bless Our Homeland Ghana.

Kofi, my comment does not mean I undermine the production of quality goods. In fact, as you acknowledged, we even need that at home as well. I am only expressing the frustration these Europeans, in particular, put our companies through when it comes to us exporting things to their shores. Quality goods are rejected based on quarters and these is killing the producers because they do not know when their hard work will be rejected just because someone wants to buy them much cheaper than the cost of producing them. Seeking other markets will indeed improve our chances, as well as, give the producer enough resources to keep the standards.
