  This illigal source of mining must be stopped, for it would not help the nation in any way. it would rither open us to the doors of sickness and other things. Look at Nigeria, which has been exposed to the out brake of Lead in one of their states killing women and childrean every day . Now the government has to spend millions of dollars to combate this out brake. Is this what Ghana wants? is this the place we want to be? oh! what a shame? why cant the Government encourage large scale mining in these communities, so that supsicated tecnologies would be used, the limit these deseases and exposure to lead etc. and than subsidise these communities with the bulky money that it gets. I believe its better this way than allowing individuals to use crude methods to look fo this so call GOLD which enventuall expose the nation the epidemic.
  These are some of the things that our laws makers need to think about and stop looking for pay increments all the time.
