Good move, but KMA must rethink (1)charging an advertising fee for a signboard in front of your establishment to locate the business (we do pay property taxes) and (2) over 100% increases in the Business Operating Licenses. Ghana Hotels Association had been assured of modest increases, but that promise was NOT kept.

I am particularly happy to read about this website to promote investment in Kumasi. I believe that things will be very easy if there is an international airport in Kumasi.
I have taken time to analyse the benefits of an international airport in Kumasi to the whole country at large.
Kumasi has a good location and environment for the success of many businesses. if both domestic and international investors are aware.
Ghana will benefit if we can look into developing all the major cities in Ghana instead of all the businesses aggregating in Accra and ignoring the rest of the regions.
I say go! to Kumasi. long live Ghana, long live Kumasi.

And yes, Accra is where its happening...Kumasi will be a hard sell to foreign investors, unless the K.M.A. creates an environment conducive to private/formal sector growth.
