    We've been LIVING longer and the Retirement age at Sixty(60) years, is BRUTAL on social lives; the EXTENSION would however, ease off the pains and the hardships the 'retirees' face till the death comes calling.

    Nana i think your idea is good but i think you are comparing the west to ghana whilst the two are different. Have you considered age expectancy and quality of life in ghana.

    Indeed, life expectancy has gone up but the older ones must make way for new employed active workforce who are without jobs.

    This is well thought piece. Government should think seriously about it. The Civil Service especially is losing able intellectuals due to the 60 years retirement age. The Chief has spoken. Government please listen.
