Who doesn't know that Ghana Custom is one of the most corrupt entitIes in the history of our so-called independence? Instead of warning them about their involvement in smuggling and their corrupt endeavor at the point of entries, Mahama just told them to "generate revenue"!!! When have they ever made profit for Ghana? Is this Bole-Banboi-boy, not aware of the opulence of this custom officials? If not then how and when did he become a Ghanaian, let alone become a PRESIDENT?

A Ghanaian Border Patrol Agent catches an illegal alien in the bushes right by the border fence, he pulls him out and says "Sorry, you know the law, you've got to go back across the border right now."
The Chinese man pleads with them, "No, noooo Senior, I must stay in de Ghana! Pleeeze to do gala-mouth-sey!"
The Border Patrol Agent thinks to himself, I'm going to make it hard for him and says "Ok, I'll let you stay if you can use 3 english words in a sentence".
The Chinese man of course agrees.
The Border Patrol Agent tells him, "The 3 words are: Green, Pink and Yellow. Now use them in 1 sentence."
The Chinese man thinks really hard for about 2 minutes, then says, "Hmmm, Ok. The phone, it went Green, Green, Green, I Pink it up and sez Yellow and my name no-tie-shoe?"

This president does not understand what he is doing or what he should do. It is not the revenue that is not being raked in as he puts it. The revenue is there; it is just being surreptitiously looted by the same personnel you are talking to, through bribery and corruption plus false accounting of the monies being raked in; under declaration of documents, etc do I need to spell it out. Anas investigated and published his findings with video evidence of how the money being raked in is being stolen. That is your starting point mr president. Just stop talking and take action against those citizens who are sabotaging the economy for their own pockets.

Ghana is already suffering because of high duties because , we don't pay much as businessmen to buy goods abroad but as soon as we get to the port the charges are so expensive that all these get passed on to the consumer on the street, this goes to every importer. Goods will get cheaper if this duties are off. I remember the president said this when he was vice and met cross section of Ghanaians in America, now he wants more revenue from customs,HOW--? That means more duties, oh Ghana. Well done togo

Togo have nothing compared to Ghana, yet it is a free port. This is because they care for the citizens. Ghana can charge and do everything for revenue, but if our customs remain high we will surely suffer.

Whenever Mahama speaks, you can easily gauge his level of thinking. Telling Customs Authorities to find ways of generating more revenue, telling Ghanaians electricity and water problems will soon be over, etc.
He reasons like an A-Level student being tasked to write an essay. Mahama lacks strategic thinking and both transactional and transformational leadership skills. He doesn't know what to do amidst Ghana' rising problems since he occupied this position over 8 months ago.
Those "reasoning voters"who voted for this "position-occupier" must think twice in their choice of a leader the next time around.

You should have said something better so we can learn from it.WISDOM IS THE PRINCIPAL THING WE ALL SHOULD GET.The authority lacks it,period. They have to come up with wise decisions to control our resources but I don't see it there.Mind you,our decisions control our future and our future is in the hands of those that do not know what they are actually doing.THAT MAKES IT VERY DANGEROUS,MY BROTHER.GHANA is like an airplane with pilots that are intoxicated. Therefore they do not know where we are and where we are going to land.WE ARE NOT SAFE THEN.Just take a moment and think about the analogy I have just brought up conserning our FATE,AND ANALYSE IT VERY CAREFULLY.If you are in Ghana, you might not know it very well until you move out of it,for a while, then you can make the difference up explicitly.THINGS ARE NOT GOING WELL ON THE GROUND IN THE MIDST OF PLENTY.

Adwen, whether you like it or not Mahama was elected as president by the majority of ghanaians and no amount of backdoor dealings will unseat him.Is it Mahama who created the water and electricity problems the country is faced with now?The insults being rained on Mahama by NPP supporters and a section of the population just shows how primitive-minded some of us are.A future NPP government and leader[?] will find it extremely hard to rule the nation. Is it wrong for the president to assure ghanaians that the current electricity and water problems will soon be over?If you do not respect an NDC president ,an NPP president[?] will never be respected either. It is unfortunate that the Danquah/Busia tradition always sees its political opponents as 'verandah boys' not fit to rule the nation.

THE HARDWORKING ROYAL FAMILY IN THE UAE HAS TOTALLY TRANSFORMED A COMPLETELY DESERT WASTELAND INTO A METROPOLITAN MASTERPIECE UNMATCHED BY EVEN THE SO-CALLED WESTERN COUNTRIES.
THOSE WHO KNEW THAT COUNTRY (UAE) 50 YEARS AGO WILL ATTEST TO THIS MASSIVE MATCHLESS TRANSFORMATION ENJOYED BY ALL FOR THE GOOD OF ALL.
MEANWHILE, GHANA IS STILL GRAPPLING EVEN WITH BASIC UNINTERRUPTED SUPPLY OF POTABLE WATER AND ELECTRICITY IN THIS 21ST CENTURY.
GHANA, A COUNTRY WHICH STARTED EXPORTING COUNTLESS NATURAL RESOURCES OVERSEAS MORE THAN 50 YEARS AGO WHEN THE UAE WAS A DESERT WASTELAND WITH NOMADIC PEOPLE ON CAMELS, IS STILL STRUGGLING WITH BUDGET DEFICITS WHILE THE UAE AND OTHER GULF STATES CONTINUE TO ENJOY UNPRECEDENTED GROWTH AND BUDGET SURPLUSES SINCE THEY STARTED EXPORTING CRUDE OIL AND NATURAL GAS LESS THAN 25 YEARS AGO.
INDEED, THE BLACK RACE IS A CURSED RACE. THIS SHOWS THAT BLACKS ARE NOT CAPABLE OF MANAGING ANYTHING WELL, AND POST-APARTHEID SOUTH AFRICA PERFECTLY EXEMPLIFIES BLACKS BACKWARDNESS.
NO WONDER BARACK OBAMA HAS CHOSEN TO HAVE MORE WHITES THAN BLACKS IN HIS CABINET AND GOVERNMENT ALTHOUGH OBAMA IS RIDING HIGH IN THE USA BECAUSE OF THE BLACK VOTE.
NO WONDER KEVIN PRINCE BOATENG AND THE LIKE NO LONGER WANTS TO IDENTIFY WITH THE BLACK STAR JERSEY WHEN HE GOT WHAT HE WANTED.

Ministry of Finance,Ministry of Trade,Customs, IRS, Auditor Generals Dept,Ghana Institute of Freight Forwarders have created a system that puts the state's monies into individual pockets. BNI is the master supervisor. This is at the heart of the Presidency. During ,Rawlings era,Kuffours time, Mills Presidency.... cars, goods were ceaased from Ghanaians leaving abroad, 90% who are carwahers and cleaners and then sold to govt officials. Now IMF is suggesting that you the govt tax remittances from abroad. Govt should be by the people.
International Tobacco was able to enter into an arrangement with customs so that the company can use the state's monies(Excise duty) as working capital.
