It is quite incredible to read this piece of news from the Ghana web which is unreasonable for a managing Director whom the Government has reposed confidence in him and had offered him a position of a managing director to fulfill Government,s promise to provide houses to its populace.If this is true,then it must be condemnd in uncertain terms it deserves.The Government should take every step necessary to recoup this huge sums of money from the individuals concerned for the development and provision of houses to those who rearly need it.The state Housing Company has been a Gold Mines to succeeding managing Directors and their co horts to enrich themselves to the dis adventage of the mass of people who need houses.The writer was one of the staff of the company who worked assidiously and helped in errection of the company,s present head offices opposite Awudome cermetary. Mr ofankye Ankra please ,my candid advice to you is that there should be transparency in your administration to avoid suspicion of any kind which may distroy your personality for the rest of your life and the generations to come.

You see after JUNE 4TH AND 31ST DECEMBER? people became a bit skeptical to venture into certain naked corrupt practices.But with the advent of master crafters of looting between JANUARY 2001 to JANUARY 2008 (even to the chagrin of the superpower supporters of the said political administration), things have changed and people now have boldly innovated ingenious ways and methods to craft the act of looting and nakedly robbing the Nation. How can you build affordable homes with 30% interest rates..I just bought a new truck and in usa the rate was a HIGH 4.9% and some credit unions are giving customer loans for 2%

Most gov built housing in the usa is being torn down, and POOR residents given vouchers to use a private apartment complex! Housing projects in america only breed crime when 200 poor people lived in small area!

PRESIDENT OBAMA WAS RIGHT TO EMPHASIZE THAT OUR INSTITUTIONS NEED TO BE STRENGTHENED.
He explained that if billions of dollars were given to us as donations and we don't strengthen our institutions,we can never develop.
Cocaine,indian hemp, heroine and bars of gold being smuggled in cargo planes.
Instead of our security services going all out to arrest those involved,they rather arrest innocent people having PEACEFUL RALLY AT TAIFA.Ghana police went as far as the court to seek INJUNCTION to stop PEACEFUL DEMONSTRATION.
When NDC supporters went on rampage at the supreme court and caned people(NPP sympathizers) nobody was arrested.When NDC supporters butchered and robbed people at the makola market and its environs,no arrest were made up to date.
When buses loaded with NDC supporters on their way from the NORTH to Accra for the president's inauguration went on rampage in Kumasi and vandalized people's shop and smashed windscreens of vehicles no arrest were made up to date.
How on earth do you think MAHAMA CORRUPT GOVT WILL ADDRESS THIS ISSUE AT SHC? ITS ALL OVER!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!

The shc has been a corrupt institution for many years with poor management style ,lack of leadership and vision for proper property investment to yield a good return of profits,with the property construction boom in ghana today one would have expected shc to be taken a leading role to invest in properties for residential ,shopping malls and offices,as ghana attracts foreign investors the demand for office space and house also go high in some prime areas such as where shc office is located because of easy accessibity.I see no reasons why should shc lease to a lebanese company at cheap fee while alternatively they could have sought loans to develop into high rising offices and residential flat to rent which will regenerate the area and bring more financial benefit to shcThe management is corrupt and are short sighted and seek only their greedy interest ,they are noted to have sold parcels of lands in achimota/mile 7 near an d under vra high tensions which is water log and prone to flood when it rains heavly to their favourites which the residents wanted to develop the area as park but shc sold out without consultation to the residents,its believed if this developement is not stop to allow free flow of water into gutters the whole area will flood when it rains.
