People and government need to PAY for their electricity. Do the ministries pay? Police stations? Fire Service? Valco? All mining companies?

I can't understand how or why the rates are so expensive in Ghana. In North America, the rates are much cheaper.

Electricity is needed in Ghana. The ruling Gvt. should get up and deal with issues concerning "mining oil in Ghana and have no oil or money to ran electricity power plant. Subsidizing power plant expenditure from Gv.'s chest.

What do you mean by poor tariffs? Ghanaian pay high price for electricity. I pay 50 Euros monthly for power in Germany. I have electric cooker, oven, washing machine. A Household of 6 people. Power in Ghana is expensive

The logical and wise man will advise to have standby electricity generaters in every regions, but instead we always talk about issues that means nothing, please stop these excuese and have some vision, simple because, yes the demand of electricity would be high from year to year. Therefore, must be awake all the time and try to find everlasting solution and the sitaution in Ghana in teams of electricity supply humpers industrial development and also discourages inversitment. Please no more room for excuses.

You should already be using natural gas (cng) or Lp gas instead of overpriced and polluting crude oil..Or burn trash to produce steam!
