Better still, we need to be looking to mine our own minerals ourselves and add value by refining and selling gold ourselves. We cannot continue to allow foreigners to control our mining industry.

Look at all the mineral and timber resources from the region and poverty is the curse of the region. The folks in the Western Region should be mad and raise hell; start a revolution to secure 30% of mineral profits too.

Indirectly we are keeping money in the country and they will start addressing issues back home.So many incompetent foreigners running positions in Ghanana mines they cannot occupy in their own countries,
