Unless we’re paying for their engineers and technology to build the so called refinery ourselves. Even an idiot knows that Russia war with Ukraine is draining its economy while still under western sanctions. It’s only lazy and delusional presidents in Africa who believes that Russia will or can bear the cost of this projects in gratis. Even china in its current economic glories won’t embark on this illusory economic diplomacy. First, it was a Russia railway project from the south to the north of Ghana which never saw the light of day because according to the Russia the western sanctions prevent them to execute the project. Now we go again with another propaganda project to deceive Ghanaians. What has changed, are the sanctions lifted? If we find our own money as a country, there are countless countries capable of building civil nuclear energy infrastructure for us. We’re not in the 1900s.
