It looks like the contract agreements are not properly done. Because if you hire my land to mine after expiration it should not be any arbitration. I should be able to take back my land after expiration of contract.

And I hear they want to use all means including legal options to have the lease extended. What is the meaning of a lease? And which law makes mining leases renewal automatic? Even if you should win the legal case, which is definitely unlikely, you cant operate in Tarkwa. The community do not want you, Ghana do not need you, so leave peacefully.
If the govt do renew the expired lease they will face the nation's anger in electiion 2028.
