This President is cursed, just look at the ppl surrounding him no sensible person. Hardly would you hear of anyone with an intelligent suggestion to national issues.

Ban Trotros in the cities, assign each of the 4 corridors to Accra to 2 or 3 private companies. Give Tax holidays to all the companies for 3yrs for each company to bring in at least 200 units buses. Assuming Adenta-Madina corridor has 3 companies with each one having 200 big buses, give them timing system to load passengers. This will create many jobs for drivers, conductors and other ancillary workers, they will get reliable monthly income, bonuses, medical allowances and pay SSNIT & PAYE .

A good initiative but poorly managed. How's the President satisfied with this? I enjoyed the service last week Wednesday, Thursday and Friday. Friday, the bus didn't show up. Tuesday, being today, it didn't show up. Why? Because, all six buses on the Kasoa stretch has decided to load and make Kasoa their starting point neglecting all the other stations along this route to Accra. One bus was initially stationed at SCC Junction dealing with SCC and Block Factory but now, it's obvious we've to go to Kasoa to board the bus.... impossible!

@Kwaku Tee,very good suggestion, let me add that 40-60 seater electric buses can be imported and given to PPP companies formed by government with the transport unions on work and pay basis in the short term while Neoplan is revamped in partnership with a Chinese bus company to produce large capacity buses for both intranet and inter city operations, this Aayalolo thing is just cosmetic.
