I am very impressed with Ayaragas announcement to reform the waste system.
The use of mini compactor refuse trucks to replace these Aboboyas will be great self tipping and self loading especially when the bins are distributed.
Ghana will be 70 years next year it's a nasty scene seeing these Aboboyas with the Bula in front of you in day time trafic with pampas stuck at the edge of that plywood.
I leave at ACP Estate area and few occasions descending towards the overhead bridge l meet a them.
I have forcefully stopped not less than 10 whenever l see them load uncovered and will just assist them to cover and move on.
Some can nor speak English Akan ,GA,or even Hausa.As much as the YEA wants to provide jobs let's educate them and provide them with the right logistics.
Acquiring these mini trucks from China especially following the concept of one district one truck concept.Get these guys trained to operate these operators will be great.
These new trucks could haul a lot of load compared to the Aboboyas.These can result to a lot of load hauled out of homes to transfer centres.
These trucks are really a nuisances to our society especially when you see them around our airports where our visitors are first greeted with Aboboyas hovering around.
The ministers plan to replace to mini compactors is really laudaule idea to further promote a cleaner Ghana as we become 70 years in March.
