He had wanted them to form a company and run it as VIP or STC when he wanted to ban Trotros and introduce mass transport in the cities. Here they're having allowed their members to raise fares by 20 to 30% 2 maths ago coming with 8%.

The GPRTU should take action on non compliance drivers. This morning from Oyarifa to Madina drivers are charging 6 cedis when the old fare was 5 cedis. So 8% of 5 cedis , at most it should be 5.5 cedis.

From Madina to Accra, they are charging 10 cedis compared to the old price of 8 cedis so 8% of 8 cedis, they should have charged at most 9 cedis for the new fare.
If the GPRTU cannot enforce the agreement there is no need to go for negotiation with the Government
