Any bond offerings over 6 percent is crazy, not acceptable for either party, these are the sort of silly debt market sweetners we should stop in Ghana, make laws against. I am offering a corporate bond with 90 percent interest for 5 years, now you will understand my point. Not everything that looks good, sound good, taste good is actually good, we need to grow as a country and move away from loans, bonds, grants, treasury bills etc, and work and feed ourselves, work for our money to do projects, instead of relying on monies from the capital market. We have only one way to prosperity in Ghana, work and feed ourselves, build roads from our sweat, no loans even if it is zero percent interest, or we will never learn, never progress to the level of Malaysia or South Korea. As a country we need to preach against easy money, debts and bonds, it did not work for 60 years, it will not work for 4 years, it breeds laziness and corruption in the country. We need to legislate against certain bond and loan offerings in the country, mostly from the international market and greedy, corrupt and useless corporations.
