  Fellow Ghanaians I know the GenZ's don't know this because they had not been born yet,in the 1970's some 50yrs ago,there was oil boom in Nigeria which attracted millions of Ghanaians some with skills and some with none,some went there and falsely claimed to be masons,some of these fake masons in the course of plastering buildings could not mix the mortar well and as a result could not stick well to the walls when slapped,first they used the trowel to force the mortar to stick,not sufficient so they add the other hand,not sufficient so they add their belly and chest in a bid to make the mortar stick,this analogy is what President Mahama, his Finance Minister,BoG governor and their battalion of advisers are doing to the cedi to make it strong and stand against other currencies,the Finance Minister is holding the left hand,the BoG governor the right hand and the President the legs,they will have to do this till elections 2028 for propaganda value because the so-called stability of the cedi is artificial like an athlete on steroids,it is not backed by any sound economic policy,it is simply buy galamsey gold,sell it and give the dollars to BoG who in turn sell it to the commercial banks who together with importers are laughing all the all the way to their banks.
