Presently Ghana has capacity with existing thermal plants, but the cost of fuel and operating cost seems to make it challenging to power all of them.
Thermal plants also have tendency to be located along the coast/ harbour towns .

Non of you.people have expressed concern about the lighted bulbs you see in front of shops even at 10am as you drive along the streets. After using the light the previous night they fail to switch it off and they are so many. Uncountable

I thought he Jinapor said our power generation capacity is more than we need after the IPP deals so why adding more to make our generation underutilized when instead of NDC thinking industrialization we are building markets? Who will consume the excess power?
