Is this Afenyo guy ok up there? What has MTN got to do with government policy? Did he see any message from AT and Telecel to customers on the 0.75% charges to suggest the issue is from government?

Afenyo let us enjoy the little oxygen left in the atmosphere wae. Enough of the noise! Did u and your party led by Uncle Addo do any proper consultations before implementing E-levy? Your style of politics and way of putting the ruling government on their toes lacks credibility. U guys should criticize well.

Rascal Afegble-Markins and his NPP skunks are ashamed of the prudent manner of JDM and his government's management of the economy, which has brought peace, hope and stability to the country. The NPP lacks credibility in their noise-making, accusations, and hollow press conferences in a bid to destabilize the government. The NDC is doing its best to bring sanity to the country through transparent efforts to fulfil its campaign promises by initiating projects that are well thought out and planned before implementation. The NPP, on the other hand, initiated its flagship projects that were ill-planned and haphazardly implemented, all coated with lies and corruption, which is why they couldn't complete even one single development project before leaving office. The NPP's attempt to equalize their mismanagement and governance to JDM's transparent governance will not stick. Hypocrites and nation-wreckers!

Ok. So, as a customer, how is 0.75% paid as MTN transfer charge different from 0.75% paid as E-levy? Exactly the same impact on your pocket.

@ Kofi, no, the impact is not the same. E Levy was imposed on all who sent money across networks, but not all of us even have Bank accounts to be affected by MTN plan. The proceeds from e Levy went to government, so at least we can all get some benefits from it, though it didn't serve the proposed purpose. The current tariffs MTN tried to impose will only benefit MTN as a company, and I oppose it a 1000%, looking at the horrible network connectivity of MTN recently. I don't support e Levy, and I don't support MTN new tariff either. My only point is, NPP should not be telling lies that e Levy is back, because they know it's not true.

MTN brings out a levy and you complained it was the government that is doing it, then BOG comes to suspend the implementation and you are blaming the government.
