Our harbour will soon be abandoned by landlocked countries using our harbour. How will they get these heavy loads to their countries? They should be made to pay the full duties on their imported goods and get refunded when their customs certify goods is received in their countries. The other good thing about this directive is stopping diversion of goods and saving our roads from destruction.

The ban on land transit of these products is not the best way to address the issues at the land borders. This measure may end up creating shortages of some of these banned products in the country which will then affect prices on the market.
