We NDC must be serious and face things right that we are failing. We cannot blame NPP.

We have committed too many economic management crimes and we must be ready to face the citizens and apologise to them.

1. We have artificially stabilised the Cedi against the Dollar and the result is that we do not have money to pay tge farmers because we used 300 billion dollars meant for national development and payment of cocoa farmers.

2. We have sold over 20 metric tonnes of gold out of tge 47 tones left by NPP and used that to artificially stabilised the Cedi.

3 We have made loss from gold trading to the tune of 400 million dollars at the time gold price is highest.

I am sad the honeymoon days are over. The workers will start demanding pay increment soon. Gold prices will start to fall and cocoa price is falling.

We have messed up too soon and we must be ready to face the population

When things were good for cocoa exports, they squandered the money. They did not save anything for the future and now Mahama is blamed to come up with a supplement for farmers because cocoa has lost price value. Dishonest law enforcement agencies were unable to deal with Opuni and others in a massive multi-faceted corruption. His successors did not save anything for cocoa farmers either. Now that the price of cocoa has shrunk at an alarming rate at international markets, they expect Mahama to do some form of magic to settle the difference.
