If Abraham Koomson was himself sensible about this matter he would have realized that the current crises is purely due to the appreciation of the cedi against the USD and the fallen prices of Cocoa on the world market. If only this government had done timely forward sales all we are seeing would not have happened. The NDC government and the CMC CEO should rather accept where they failed to act and apologize rather than trying to shift blame which so called labour experts like Abraham Koomson seem to be believing. If indeed the current crisis was due some inherited debt there was no way government could have increased the prices they met. The debt was there right at the time they took over so then why did they increase the prices last year, this is simple logic so it's only the likes of Abraham Koomsom who will fall for this NDC blame game.

Cocoa price on the world market had never been stable, and as a government, you act as a buffer rather than to punish the farmer by reducing the price of his yearly produce thereby reducing his purchasing power.
Any leader who toys with the lives of our hardworking cocoa farmers will not have it easy, and John Mahama is currently sweating profusely

This whole issue is that Mahama and his criminals stole $10 billion dollars taking advantage of US government shutdown which caused the US dollar to devalue it strengthen causing international currencies to rise against the dollar and This opportunity caused Mahama to steal the $10 billion dollars and now they need money so since cocoa prices are not announced on international market like gold,oil and other minerals prices announced they took the advantage of that to tell farmers cocoa prices has dropped is a lies they deliberately do that to promote galamsey.
