  I notice that the article concentrates solely on rural and Community Banks. This has been the trend with the discussions of the Central Bank also
  However, another major concern is the apparent neglect of the Deposit taking Institutions and Investment Companies who, earned with licences issued by the Bank of Ghana, in the early 2,000s are unable to pay back Depositors' funds. Most Depositors, myself included, have been left high and dry. Old men and women are currently being unjustifiably deprived of their funds.without any explanation. Meanwhile, the Owners/ Directors of the various Companies have studiously shut their eyes and ears to the plight of the Depositors.
  The Government, Bank of Ghana and Ministry of Finance must put their heads together and come out with a solution to this problem asap to forestall any possible disturbances in the Financial Architecture of the country.
