Waste of time. That approach will not work. We need policies that will force landlords to comply.

Remember Ghana abolished control price system and established a trade liberalization policy after adopting the ERP and SAP in the mid 1980s. Government introduced competition and therefore, cannot control pricing anymore.

Hope the landlords won't add the tax to the rent fee to make things more difficult for the tenants? Again Government should address rent fee issues because in few years to come many Ghanaian in urban cities won't afford to rent a house. Many people are living in kiosk because they can't afford rent fee. Government please pay attention to caution landlords or stipulate rent fee as per area and category of the houses or apartments. Landlords should note house is a long last property which there is not way they can recoup money used in building it at once. It is a long time investment that will last for generation if maintained. Outrageous rent fee is bad. Landlords reduce your rent fees for your fellow humanbeing.
