It is only a crazy government, crazy leadership, corrupt, greedy and useless government that will renew any mining lease under this useless condition, between 5 -12 percent return on royalty. We are poor, and have been poor under this same agreement for rhe past100 years, that should tell any reasonable government that, that agreement is useless and of no benefit to the people, do not force it on the people by telling them it is good, you know you are telling lies, stop it fools. We need all our mining company's back to Ghana ownership, now that gold price is at all time high. We have the upper hand to negotiate for 60 percent not 12 percent but we should take them back under Ghana's ownership, period.

General Acheampong took 55% of Ashanti Goldfields Corp for Ghana. Nkrumah established the State Gold Mining Corp comprising of the mines at Tarkwa, Prestea, Dunkwaw and Konongo. Ghana Should reestablish this company under DIHOC and make it the sole miner of our minerals.
