Honestly I don't see the sense in this campaign promise. 194 people benefitted from this initiative in just one municipal community!! Meaning any poultry farmer will struggle to sell his/her birds. It's like distributing sewing machines to every household and training the recipients. All sewing centers will struggle to do business because there's a seamstress in every house.

What the sense in building a tomato factory if every house has a small tomato machine. Or a nika Nika machine where there's a blender in every kitchen.

The question is, are those 194 people poultry farmers? If not then it doesn't make any business sense. The poultry farmers countrywide should be empowered to boost poultry production and not just any household.

I am sure the aim is to produce poultry here in Ghana to reduce importation and also reduce the cost of eggs and meat which is skyrocketing.Especially eggs.Everyday the poultry farmers find excuses to increase prices of egg.How can one egg be sold for 5cedis?But the format the government is using can’t solve this problem
