Typical of NPP bastards. Same thing they're doing with Galamsey, after letting everything fester for 8 years, they now act like they're concern about it in opposition.

I think the biggest problem is the bad roads all over the place. Drivers are not willing to ply certain roads due to their bad nature. A typical example is the Dodowa road. And also the traffic on major roads are becoming worse. The police MTTD is not helping at all. Some are just too lazy to be on the road and others are clueless of traffic management. The police are quick to close and go home while the traffic is still on.

Most commuters in Accra depend on trotros, yet many vehicles are old and poorly designed, while rising costs make fleet renewal difficult for private operators. The result is severe rush-hour congestion, overcrowding, and daily commuter hardship.
Government must intervene immediately to stabilise peak-hour transport, while the GPRTU and other unions work with stakeholders to develop a more sustainable and dignified transport model. Accra cannot continue to rely on endurance as a transport strategy.

Only way to solve this is have a very active public transport bus system like in the UK with the Red double decker buses to create competition with the private transport operators

1. Spare parts are still expensive.
2. Roads are bad everywhere.
2. Cars are way expensive than when the dollar was trading at 1 dollar =16 cedis.
If government will as soon as possible address the above, the problem with trapotation will reduce to the minimum bearable. Thank you.
What a SHAME, one year on and you say what? !!!!
