The government of Ghana should set up a special purpose vehicle for every Ghanaian to invest in strategically important infrastructure as a train line from the south to the north of Ghana.
The government can pay a dividend of 7% annually on our investment.
The government could raise 7-8 billion dollars within 7 months if seriously considered.

People will only invest if they know that it will serve a purpose and not end up as funds for somebody's 'illegal' mansion he is building! The last time we brought a vehicle to Ghana for the purpose of just getting around, the duty charged on it was 127,670.47 ghs. And it wasn't even new! And where did we have to drive it? Inside every POTHOLE; and that's almost every road in Ghana!
If Ghana gets rid of the rampant CORRUPTION,
provides the infrastructure (roads and highways; BTW, Tema motorway with cows roaming on it is not a highway!),
maintains law and order (no corrupt police, judges, government officials and politicians) and
prevent the people in general from stealing from each other with impunity,
someone might think of investing in something in our country.
Otherwise, we can sweet-talk African Americans to move to Ghana. They will eventually find out in less than one year how unwelcoming our system is. At least they didn't have to pay bribes for anything they had to do in their country (e.g., renewal of drivers license or passport, vehicle emission test, vehicle registration etc.). Why will they remain in a country where everything involves bribes? Even the dishonest people (almost all of us) change the prices they charge for goods as soon as they see them. Yet we go to church after these activities and pretend to be 'Christians'; one is supposed to strive to be Christlike after joining a church!
Ghana is a place where people create 'DYSFUNCTION' in every system in order to start their corrupt practices! In Ghana if things run smoothly like they are supposed to, people do not make illegal money (That's a No No in Ghana)! Why will someone invest in a country like ours? A system full of uncertainty and dysfunction!

Tell government to invest in productive ventures rather than pumping money to create a false appreciation of the currency. That would create jobs and boost businesses so that families who have relatives in the diaspora wouldn't be depending so much on them. That will give them the financial space to invest in productive ventures. BoG expends millions of cedis to reduce the dollar exchange rate yet prices of goods are not correlating with the exchange rate, and the people can't even earn enough to afford basic necessities. Farmers are struggling to sell their produce, which means consumers have lost their purchasing power. Nurses salary are still pending. All those have ripple effect. Investment begins with strong microeconomic fundamentals. If that is not fixed, everyone will be receiving salary with zero savings, wondering where the money goes.

Can you set a fast track court for this thievery, very high punitive jail with hard labour these criminals. Also, respect us at the borders because we are your assets to reset your Gh Agenda.
