  The UAE spends less per kilometre to build world class roads than Ghana. The reason is simple, CORRUPTION. Roads contracts are awarded not on merit but on connections so that prices can be inflated and the profits shared amongst politicians and their associates. Most of the time the work is shoddy. Ghana has no hope.

  True, and above all, the roads doesn't last for more than 5 years compared to Europe where roads last for over 100 years. Ghana, roads are built by corrupt and criminal politicians through awarding juicy contracts to their friends and business partners, there by destroying the value of the Cedi, high inflation, high interest rate, and debts everywhere. In short, roads cost us everything, and destroys everything in Ghana, but we have no good roads. President Akoffo Addo and his criminal and corrupt politicians claimed to have built 10,000 kilometers of roads, 110 hospitals, 1 district 1 factory, 1 district 1 dam, etc, these were all lies, money wasted and stolen by politicians, and the guy who was looking after the money, Ken Ofori Atta, the criminal is gone, seeking citizenship in America, after destroying Ghana completely, bankrupting the country, and IMF halting all developmental projects, the very thing that the government used to borrow money from the international market. Big push, big this, big that is all lies to waste our money, what exactly do we have to show for since independence, nothing. GHANA, GHANAIANS OPEN YOUR EYES AND FIGHT BACK, OR PEOPLE WILL FALL AND DIE IN THE STREET DUE TO HUNGER FROM POOR GOVERNANCE BY OUR LEADERS.
