Solar is not cheap ohh! you always need backup thermals to complement it. To take care of its variability you will need standby capacity of thermals to run them just in case it fails you. so why don't you just use the thermal ...

Most countries doing renewables have backup generation and imports to shore up if things go south. That has caused their energy prices to soar up due to underutilized thermals.
we should be decieved too much with western propaganda.
