Market women and traders must reduce the profit they make on foodstuffs and other agricultural goods so that government employees can live as human beings.
It's the policy of excessive profits that make it impossible for not only government employees, but workers not to live as normal human beings.Traders must reduce the profits they make on goods and services and that will make the worker a being and not a despicable animal that they think.
The cost of transportation has been reduced since the beginning of of 2025, but traders and food sellers refused to increase the size of their food.
Those who sell raw food also refused to reduce the prices of their goods.
If traders are good, they must know that two good turns deserve one another, thus its not the state or employers who should endeavour to make life bearable for workers, but traders must also play their part.

I am 100% NDC supporter but I'm very disappointed in this government and we shall vote our own party out of power come 2028 even if this government increases pay by 50% in election year 2028. Ghanaians cannot be fooled any more. 9% for what ? To buy ice water ? God have mercy on poor public sector workers and civil servants of Ghanaian. No doubt 95 % of them depend on LOANS and Loans and on Loans to even survive to eat and fed their family and children. Surely 2028 elections will come indeed.
