  A partial reason for the price of gold continuing to soar is because of Central Bank buying. The worsening global geopolitical scene ( increased risk of major conflict) and the acceleration in the depreciation of major fiat currencies that traditionally serve as Reserve currencies has been a source of anxiety for the economic policy makers of many nations in recent years. Another worry is the growing risk of confiscation of foreign currency reserves by some nations. An important trend over the last decade has been the urgent and prudent repatriation by many governments of their bullion reserves held in foreign controlled bullion vaults.
  Great to see our own BoG beginning to take active steps TO GROW THESE GOLD BULLION RESERVES. THE NEXT STEP WILL BE TO SECURE THESE RESERVES IN THE SAME WAY COUNTRIES SUCH AS GERMANY AND MANY OTHERS HAVE BEEN BUSY DOING BY THE REPATRIATION OF THEIR GOLD.
