    This is number 1 national security issue. The government should purcchase all the grains to encourage the farmers to continue farming. Else Ghana will be at the mercy of external suppliers who could blackmail Ghana anytime.

    The English language is your problem - "cheaper imported rice" doesn't necessarily mean the rice currently imported into the country is cheaper than the locally produced ones, it means the imported rice is now cheaper than it ...
