Herh Anka have you been to school before? Do you know the negative effects of Nuclear energy? We can’t even manage Galamsey but now you are allowing wicked Russians to bring in the Stone Age dangerous and obsolete technology into our peaceful. Uneducated, illiterate and ignorant fool have you heard of CHERNOBYL DISASTER IN RUSSIA? Do you know the number of people who died in the nuclear accident due to Russia incompetence? What will Mahama fix? Has he ever fixed anything? All NDC understands is TAKASHI, We have allowed Russia to introduce their brutal governance systems into our country. BRUTALITY, INSULTS, STUPIDITY AND IGNORANCE is typical RUSSIA-NDC STYLE. THANKS A LOT DR YAMOAH FOR ALERTING GHANA AND SENSIBLE GHANAIANS.

U made a good point alerting him about the consequences of nuclear power especially to a country like Ghana that lacks maintenance culture.
My view, immediately you brought in ndc, it makes it feel like you are making it about a political party.
My reason is that, whenever a political takes an initiative and it's not from that political party then that party must be against it that's why I'm saying this.
But if as a concern citizen, then good job.
I'll like to add that, whatever the president wants to do I believe it's in the interest of the nation.
How then do we help and not encounter the negative consequences of nuclear power?
And be hopeful that the benefits outweigh the negative consequences

Macosty let’s be honest and realistic as human beings. Son of the soil believes the country is polarized by policies and all sorts of matters. Otherwise how on earth will any sane human being decide FREE SHS? The painful fact is the presence of journalists and bloggers like Captain Smart and the likes of him who speak finance, economics, health, education (even though these idiots left education at a young age and didn’t complete school properly), energy and all. Such fools have pushed those who can meaningfully contribute sensible content to stay away. NO WONDER THE CALIBRE OF APPOINTEES ARE TERRIBLE. WHO SUFFERS? MOTHER GHANA. HAVE A GOOD DAY AMENOVI.

Another foolish Ewe who thinks everything is politics. Do you know when this nuclear power program began, and do you know how far we have come? It goes far back as 2006 when the idea was truncated because of coups. Should everything be politics? If Nkrumah had not pushed for the construction of Akosombo Dam, and allowed the Americans to give us generators because we need electricity, would we have trained our own engineers? Would Akosombo town have been created?

I pity you. If you have nothing to say shut up. Do you know the thinking that goes into this? If Kwame Nkrumah had allowed the Americans to supply us generators because we need electricity, would we have had the chance to train our own engineers? Think. It's not just about the supply of electricity, it's also about knowledge transfer, job creation during construction, add value to our materials, etc. Fool.
If you have nothing to say, SHUT UP.

The floating offering would be no different from KarPower introduced by Mahama 1.0-------pay to use without ownership..
The landed facility which Ghana has been working on for about 20 years would be the "Akosombo" of today. A national asset.

Like you earlier said, since there's no long term track record on safety, why risk it? Let's go for the landed reactors first, then we go for the floating reactors, after all we built Akosombo before going to Karpower

We should be careful not to descend into the foolish American-Russian rivalry. Do we reject something good just because it's coming from Russia. Don't forget the recent World Bank pronouncement that Ghana's financial problem was never due to the Russia-Ukraine war. Our leaders knew at that time that our difficulties had nothing to do with the war but it was a convenient accusation to be anti-Russia to be poodle for America. Don't forget that the Kwabenya Atomic Reactor was Russian. We need to build upon it. Beware of so-called experts who give advice depending on who pays into their pockets. The Russian system may be less expensive and the expert's 10% kickback may not be attractive to him to recommend it.

Dr Nkrumah enemies within don't want anything good especially continuing his legacy, these are the guys whose fathers sold Dr Nkrumah and after his overthrow they burnt most of his books then gave Nkrumah nuclear reactors freely to the Americans. By now Ghana is an energy hub for Eestern Eastern Central African countries. They are still working for the imperialist regimes and depriving Africa for it growth and development. The young generation coming with enough information are not going to spare some of you for misleading them especially helping to eliminate Dr Nkrumah and Patrice Lumumba
