You are mistaken. Some of the MOMO vendors/platforms are offering 12 cedis to the dollar. Remember that they make their profit off of the exchange rate, meaning it has to be higher than 12 cedis to thr dollar.

Our country has become so politicized that people see everything through the lens of politics. Mind you, when the rate dropped to 9.50 cedis to the dollar within 3 months after Mahama took office, it was artificially done versus letting the strength of the economy dictate so. I suspect the rate would be back to where it was before year's end, that is, 15-16 cedis to the dollar by December 2025. Watch this space.
