If your wellbeing depends on the competent management of an economy by an African, you are doomed and will never be out of poverty. A Ghanaian will demand money or sex to give you a job or any service/opportunity you deserve and if you dont deserve it, money or sex will pave the way for you. Leave the country while you are still young or forever perish in poverty or frustration.

How did DVLA accumulate such a huge debt in hundreds of millions and cedis when all their services are paid for? Is DVLA not supposed to be paying profits to government. If this is the case why does the government not privatise it. The managers of DVLA are simply crooks. If you have increased revenue by 57% in 5 months why don't have you done to those who were chopping the money? This present boss who wants to change the number plates should be watched.

This is a department worth visiting by the Auditor-General and his investigation staff.
DVLA has a budget from the ministry of transport.
We also know that the department is solely responsible for awarding licences to new drivers who pass their tests.
So the statement that the new leader is giving to the public is strange. Very strange.
What was the $200 million debt used for? Was it a loan raised for the department or a debt left unpaid from buying goods from abroad. If the latter, what type and for whom?
The cedi debt is more bizarre since people paid excess to get their driving licence.
Personally I do not believe that these debts are true and standing in the books of the department.
How come a department under the ministry of transport unilaterally obtain loans in foreign currency without the knowledge of the ministry; the minister, the finance ministry and the permanent secretary.
Please do not throw dust in to our eyes. This is strange.

Sir please check your facts about the new vehicle registration that you want to introduce.
It is NOT a fact that Ghana is the ONLY country in the world that has a year in a vehicle registration.
Infact, you mention countries including UK that you claim has NOT.
That is you putting dust into our eyes Mr. Kotey
The United Kingdom does not joke with the year of registration/manufacture.
example...AB22QRS
The 22 tells everybody that it is 2022....The year identifier is always the two digits in the middle.
AB is the area code....like Greater Accra...the year...then random 3 alphabets that is unique to the vehicle...UK for you.
We are always anxious to change things to make money then we talk about conformity.....Sir you have just deceived Ghanaians.
Talking about zones....why do we complicate things in Ghana.
Jesus is the light of the world.
All should seek Him and live forever...
