  Dr. Ato Forson`s figures about cocoa prices to be paid to our Ghanaian cocoa farmers for the 2025-2026 main crop season is still inadequate.
  Compared to what Ivory Coast is paying and how much cocoa is sold and bought at the world market, Ghana is paying rather discouraging prices to our farmers.
  No wonder many are cutting down their cocoa trees to mine gold on their farmlands.
  And no wonder many go at armed length to sell their produce to the Ivorians.
  Apart from Dr. Kwame Nkrumah`s government, our successive administrations continue to cheat and rob and our farmers which force the youth to go into farming but enter into politics where one can loot and steal hugely in no time.
