So na who cause am? Is it the traders who are refusing to maintain normal prices or our agric system is very poor. Much as we have galamsey issues we have not made any necessary moves to go into commercial farming. We appoint agric ministers who have not ordered not even one tractor but are launching "Planting for food and jobs" or "Feed Ghana" that has done absolutely nothing for the country. It's no more a secret that IMF and World Bank loans conditionalities does not allow for growing food but import.

As for food it's as if touching the soil is a curse. Talking about tractors, it's only Atta Mills who imported tractors. I keep wondering why Mahama didn't continue. As if he was warned not to. As for Akuffo Addo, agric is hi ... read full comment

As for Akuffo Addo, agric is his enemy. I visit the Northern region often and that place alone can feed West Africa!!!

You we're right on the spot. Takoradi traders are surely wicked. They often even look at a customer's appearance before stating their prices. Why, in any case, will sea fish in kumasi be cheaper than those in coastal Takoradi? No wonder that at his first coming, Rawlings imposed strict control prices on the food of Takoradi market sellers. They're are heartless!

Buddy, it appears the honeymoon is over. NPP era was the same thing where Bawumia confidently said we have locked the dollar and handed the keys to IGP. but when their honeymoon came to an end, we all saw what happened. By the way the Dollar gets to appreciate because l don't see the benefits of dollars depreciating while the goods and services still remain high just as when the dollar was 15. The dollar simply gets to appreciate to where it supposed to be
