  The saying "If you want to prosper, build roads" is a common Chinese proverb highlighting the importance of infrastructure development, particularly transportation networks, for economic growth and societal advancement. Improved roads facilitate access to markets, resources, and opportunities, leading to increased trade, job creation, and overall prosperity.
  
  Isn't the acceptance of single-lane roads as international and interregional roads as national standards a complete crime against humanity and indictment on our collective leadership conscience as a country, especially under President John Dramani Mahama and the NDC administration? Among the major cities in the country, Accra and Kumasi are out there, and the distance between the two major cities is just 240 kilometers.
  
  How can OMCs take advantage of the 24-Hour Economy when the previous NPP administration completed 100 out of 240 kilometers of dual-carriage roads project, but instead of consistency, continuity, and coherence in planning and developing, this NDC administration is going to scrap the progress made and commence feasibility studies to construct a six-lane dual-carriage highway beginning next year? Besides, isn't this project supposed to be completed in two years?
  
  The question on the minds of most people is how many more lives are going to be sacrificed or lost to the carnage, apart from the fifteen members of the church last week, before these feasibility studies are completed or construction begins, let alone being completed?
