TDC Ghana Limited has issued a stern notice to all business owners, industrial operators, and tenants within the Tema acquisition area, warning of strict enforcement actions against rent defaulters as it launches a special rent collection exercise from July 2 to July 31, 2025.
The notice, which applies to leaseholders and occupants of houses, shops, offices, and land under TDC’s jurisdiction, urges all those with outstanding rent arrears to settle their obligations within the specified period.
TDC has stated that failure to comply will result in punitive measures, including the closure and sealing off of premises, as well as the initiation of legal recovery proceedings.
“To avoid disruption of your business operations or loss of access to your premises, visit the TDC Head Office at Community 1, Tema, to pay all outstanding arrears and collect your official receipt,” the statement said.
The company has called on stakeholders to treat the directive with utmost urgency to prevent reputational harm and operational disruptions, urging prompt compliance throughout the month-long exercise.
