When sensible and sensitive issues like this come up you don't see people commenting because they don't hear npp and NDC in it.

This man is a npp sympathizer. No doubt he is holding press conference like their counterparts in parliament.

If you are bereft of knowledge allow those who know to talk. If you have nothing to say at least be a student or an observer.

When a political party with propaganda as its modus operandi forms a govt, open ur eyes to avoid being shortachanged with cooked figures. NDC govt in late 1990s cooked economic figures and we suffered a fine of $50M by the World Bank. Since NDC took office in 2025, misrepresentations by its Ministers to make propaganda rhetorics true, have shown bad faith in various ways. This is too bad for our image. We had such in energy, foreign affairs, attorney general, national security, education, govt communication, etc. It is a persistent trend and that of the finance ministry is no surprise at all. All these happening against such high goodwill from the people of Ghana in under a year in office, is dangerous. Govt must Buck up. The propaganda of 'when govt buys a goat, say it's a cow', that Baba Jamal advised them to do, must be stopped.

Dr. Bannor, you call the slip in the comparison of figures as misleading? I am sorry that is not a good example of misleading. If the minister's 6.8 % figure is not true, then we can say he has mislead the country. Because, the comparison was even uncalled for and it does not make any difference to the statistics, it is just the usual political gimmicks. What is important is the current figure, which to me is not misleading.

Ghanaians bought the ‘Asaana’. The NDC fought by hook or crook! peddling falsehoods. Meanwhile, the NPP folks were scrambling for takeaways not focusing on power. Bottom line, the politicians are in there for self.
