  I respectfully disagree Masseur McDan. I don't think Ghanaians hate successful people. They don't hate people like Mr. Despite or the zoom lion Owner etc etc. I think what they may hate is successful people who use their wealth to run down other people in stead of lifting them up. We Africans tend to use our wealth or success to take advantage of others to the point of enslaving our own people in stead of emancipating them.

Some Ghanaians only hate those who steal state resources to enrich themselves or engage in illicit businesses like drugs to become rich and flaunt it. Ghanaians are decerning and laud the efforts of those who are genuinely successful through hard and honest work.
