And he's talking about African Continental Free trade when inland trade is still lacking a whole lot of development and innovation. We need the infrastructure to improve our own internal insufficiency and serious mobility deficiency in food production areas, good storage facilities and innovation.
The Kumasi road from Accra is getting on nerves. I just couldn't believe shortsighted thief Kufuor wasted $120 million on stupid Jubilee House instead of the road to his home, just because of kickbacks. How can we be so idiotic and stupid?

Until Ghana embraces rail, no kilomteres of road will transform the economy. It does not make sense to keep talking about increasing the road network when a simple rail that can haul heavy duty load from north to south, West to East while opening the countryside for trade and commence cannot be conceived. We also have the sea from Tema to Axim. Why can't we have two cruiseships that depart in the evening and mornings with landing sides along the West coast. This will avoid the mass slaughter on the road. As for the Northern part of Ghana, the death traps roads will not transform that forgotten cindralla of the country until rail is introduced. I was shocked traveling the Bole Bamboi road to Wa. Yet, Mahama is again talking about The VOlta corridor..... Sad indeed

Do you realize people finished cutting all the rails in the Ashanti Region and parts of the Western? You can't post people to watch practically over the length of all the rails all the time. The huge cost thereof could pave a lot of feeder roads.
Ghana has to adopt stiff and very lengthy jail times for offenders to help people to understand civility and to love their country.
