Buddy, Dollar gets to appreciate because l doesn't see the benefits of dollars depreciating as the goods and services still remain high as when the dollar was 15.00. Now i get to change more dollars to feed my family. since last two weeks the cedis it has started going down according xe.com. however, CFA is other currencies appreciating against the dollar except Ghana cedis which depreciating against the dollar, it's quite funny here

Dollar rate used by Gold Board to by gold is also above 12 cedis, so are you sure your 10.33 is really true. Please check the ports, forex bureau and other state institutions that use Dollar rate in daily transactions and you will know the real rate for the US dollar
