NDC Supporters are really very STUUUUUUPID. Ghana needs private companies to run our Public Commercial Transport System not individual Cartels like what GPRTU is managing.

The government should encourage its transport agencies ie CITY EXPRESS and others use of ELECTRIC BUSES which uses cheaper electricity power, less pollution and environmental friendly to operate both inter and intra cities transport journeys. The mini buses ( trotro) should only be allowed to operate from the peripheries of smaller towns of greater Accra to boarders of Accra as a capital ie such mini buses should not trespass kasoa, Nsawam ,Aburi,Akosombo, and Tema motor way .This will enable massive use of ELECTRIC Buses to operate inter city mode of transport aim at cheaper fares, seamless connectivity, less pollution and conjuction in Accra.

solution to this problem is simply on the government to introduce a robust public Transport system in all the 16 regions.
if the government is able to make the regional capitals a fully operated metro mass transport,
it would force the hands of the private transport operators to relocate to the districts.
The in the 2nd phase
the government move to also establish a robust district transportation system. this would also push the private transport operators to the villages within the districts .
in doing this
The government could manage the transport fares effectively by more than 70%
this alone could manage the food inflation , and the people could feel the economic impacts in their pockets positively
