  Congratulations to the GMA and the GPHA for showing a rare glimpse of our ability as a people, to think, act timeously and make the country proud. We should not stop there. We should stand on the encouraging successes of these recent accomplishments and seek the necessary support to move on to the next level.
  
  It is my estimation that the GMA, GPHA, GHANA NAVY and perhaps the Shippers Authority should all have members of each others institutions represented on the Boards - if any, of each others organization. For instance, the Navy should have representation on the Boards of the other said institutions and vice versa so as to facilitate greater institutional cooperation and active operations.
  
  Officials and Officers who shall be selected from each of the mentioned institutions to play this role as Board members, shall be constituted into an informal body to be named Search, Operations, Rescue and Reconnaissance (SOR&R).
  
  On the basis of the several activities that SOR&R can facilitate and promote for its member institutions, the following equipment should be considered priorities to activate the intended aims:
  
  1. One modern medically equipped helicopter for
  emergencies
  2. One modern helicopter for reconnaissance
  3. A fleet of long-range drones for both medical and
  reconnaissance purposes.
  4. One mobile medical emergency hospital vehicle
  5. A well-trained team - preferably of Navy
  personnel to take up the above responsibilities.
