I use to go to the tema port and always see a lot of excavators imported I ask my self what are these purpose of all these excavators the ban is long overdue
They were going to use it in your father's house ,dud you care to find out which company imported them or it was for a private firm
Why stop there? Place complete ban on importation of Chang fan macines as well. What do we need them in Ghana for.?

He won't, cos his party members are more involved than anyone,
Alarming 200 excavators are imported to the country every day. We are sitting on a time bomb.All types of mining activities should be stopped,else we are doomed

Why not completely ban the importation of excavators until further notice. The government has enough seized excavators to sell to road construction companies or other companies which require excavators. Our politicians are re ...

Just ban the importation, we are sitting on a time bomb.
Good decision but let's walk the talk. When well implemented we can easily track whose excavator is found at a galamsey site and get the person arrested and prosecuted.
