  You see, your math is bad. E-levy was on every transaction. Percentage of every transaction done. This is only on fuel consumption. The difference if spread out, you won’t feel it in your pocket. This also helps pays for our fuel needs until the new gas plant is built, it was because of lack of gas supply that dumsor happened in the first place, WAPCO lines were destroyed in 2012 by militants under the ocean. You refuse to learn truth and keep listening to ignorant politicians throwing dust in your eye to come and make your living situation worse. The plants back the. Didn’t have fuel option as way of power generations hence AMERI and CAR POWER mixed used plants.

We vote for thieves every four years. Why tax us whilst billions are in the banks accounts of our politicians. It will be a shock to us if every bank could reveal the amount of money our politicians have stashed. Billions more are stashed in foreign banks. Both NDC and NPP are neck deep in corruption. Only another June 4 will save us!

  Personally I feel the increment is too high, but looking at what some trotro drivers are doing by refusing to reduce fares in face of falling fuel prices etc, let them pay the 1 gh levy

  While using the Dumsor levy to buy fuel to avoid dumsor, remember to invest next funding such as MCC's Ghana Power Compact to improve affordability of electricity in Ghana by investing such funds in more wind power at areas where wind blows always, sustainable mini hydro projects and more solar projects like Bui, Pungu etc. By doing so, you are eliminating the need for fuels like gas, RFO, crude oil or even uranium for nuclear plant in the future. The free fuels (wind, water andsunlight) will reduce costs to what is needed for maintenance and consequently lower prices and improve affordability. A word to the wise is ...
