  I hope the correct amount will be applied. Some of the assembly charges seem quite high. Would it not be better to adopt a system similar to the UK, where properties are charged council tax instead?

  The government should regulate the rent laws of high rent in the country for old house with no renovation. But still high rent now that prices are low.

  The Minister should give back the DRIP machines to the MMDAs in furtherance of the decentralization he is talking about,what was the wisdom and business sense in centralizing the machines and creating a whole bureaucracy at great cost to the state,afterall every Ghanaian knows the machines were purchased by the previous government and so propaganda will not wash.

  There must be a proper and reasonable method for Industries. Industries cannot be charged absurd property rates. They pay so many taxes. Residential properties where even the prices are mentioned on billboards etc can be easily checked and collected and should be the focus of property rate collections.
