Ghana should brace itself. Unless it find a way to impugn illegality to this Karpower Contract and cancels it by 2028 the debt will hit $700m and by 2032 over $1trillion.
This Karpower contract negotiated by Kwabena Donkor and Jinapor under Mahama has the potentials to bankrupt the country.
All that Jinapor and Co can do is to reschedule it with huge interest, to reschedule it again when the next payment is due until thy Kingdom comes.
The only way to rescind the contract is to cite criminality at the core of the contract. But the very people involved in the criminality who should go to jail for this contract are the very ones now in charge of the contract.

Jinapor should stop the whining and do the work assigned to him.
Too fond of saying “ we inherited this debt, we inherited that debt.”
What energy debt was there when ndc left power in 2017?

Mr minister, why do you not talk about solar? We are missing a huge opportunity disregarding this.

On my own am generating a 30 kwh a day. Am off grid from 5 am to 6 pm. Just imagine if 100 people are producing at the same rate on solar? Push that imagination to 1,000 households? Or 1,000,000 households nationwide, 30 kwh a day, 7 days a week.
It's about time you start walking the talk on the green energy in your brief.
Thank you.
